140th Anniversary of the Unification of Bulgaria
Our wedding takes place on 6 September 2025 — exactly 140 years after the Unification of Bulgaria. On this day in 1885, Prince Alexander I was here at the royal summer residence when he received the news of the unification of the Principality of Bulgaria with Eastern Rumelia. From this very place, he chose to stand behind the bold act that reshaped the nation’s future.
Euxinograd — once the summer residence of the Bulgarian royal family — carries the same spirit of unity and new beginnings. It is here, in this historic and symbolic setting, that we begin our own.
